Facilities management is an on-site, flexible service, designed to meet the changing needs of an organisation’s data processing.

This service is offered to our clients who are utilising PC technology but do not have sufficient personnel or do not wish to have the high costs of having an internal system administrator with the required skills to support these technologies.

Resources can be provided for any given time scale - daily, weekly, monthly - and for any given time period - two, three or four hours per visit, one day per week, two days per month or whatever is appropriate to suit your needs.

IDS would evaluate your system requirements and provide the personnel to perform the task. The IDS representative will only visit your site on the nominated day and hence this service cannot be utilised as a general service call on other days, or for group training and network installations.

These hours can be used for any manner of PC administration work from performing basic functions such as integrity checks of backups and PC data to housekeeping chores on LANs and WAN’s.

Short to long term contracting (Minimum three weeks)

This service is available for customers who require specialised skills for short to long term contract. IDS would evaluate the skill requisite and provide the human resources required. We can accommodate personnel from basic technical knowledge for labour intensive work through to technical specialists and Project Managers.

Project management

IDS undertake projects ranging from small pilot LAN implementations through to complex Wide Area Networks. Many of our customers utilise this service to enable a total project completion with minimal impact on the day to day workload of their existing personnel.

IDS becomes your single point of contact, responsible for directing activities of multiple vendors and ensuring that a combination of hardware, software, communications and human resources work together to accomplish your information objectives.
